This page covers auteurhq.com and the source checks our LinkedIn Page posts when you mention @Auteur. It says what we read, why, where it goes and when we delete it.
In short
We read a LinkedIn post only when someone mentions @Auteur under it. We use it to check the post’s claims against public sources and reply under the post. We delete what we read within 48 hours. We never sell it, use it for ads or build profiles from it. This website sets no cookies.

Auteur is run by Jogen Information & Tech Private Limited, F-23, Road No. 5, Andrews Ganj, New Delhi 110049, India (“we”). Write to [email protected] about anything on this page. That address also reaches our grievance officer under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Source checks on LinkedIn
When a LinkedIn member mentions @Auteur in a post or comment, LinkedIn tells us through its official API. We then read:
- the comment or post that mentions us;
- the post it sits under: its text, and any images or documents attached to it;
- the public name and profile identifier LinkedIn includes with that content.
We use this only to find the claims in the post, search public sources about them, and reply under the post from the Auteur Page. The reply is a public LinkedIn comment. It says whether we could support each claim, could not, or found it false, and it links the sources we used.
The reply is about the claim, not the person. If you wrote a post we replied to and think we got it wrong, write to us and we will look again, correct the reply or remove it.
Who processes it for us
We use an AI service provider to read the post and search the web, and Cloudflare, Inc. to run the service. Both act only on our instructions. The AI provider does not use this content to train its models. Either may process data outside India.
How long we keep it
Post and comment content is deleted within 48 hours of the check. Profile details are deleted within 24 hours. The public reply stays on LinkedIn until you or we remove it. We keep only counts, such as how many checks we ran in a day, with nothing that identifies anyone.
What we never do
- sell, rent or share LinkedIn data with anyone else;
- use it for advertising, sales, recruiting or lead lists;
- combine it with other data to build profiles of people;
- read posts that nobody asked us to check.
This website
auteurhq.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. Its fonts and scripts come from this domain. Our hosting provider processes standard request logs (IP address, browser, page and time) to deliver pages and stop abuse. We do not use them to identify you. If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply, and delete it when you ask.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to remove a reply about your post. Write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this page changes, we update the date at the top. Material changes will also be posted on the Auteur LinkedIn Page.
